About My Photography

All my current work is photographed on film, especially pinhole, infrared and panoramic images. I hope to continue the exploration of the area between the literal and the abstract in photography, especially in photographs of nature. I print and frame my own work using archival inkjet materials and museum quality papers and framing materials.

I was first introduced to photography at Parsons School of Design in New York City. I was a member of the Montauk Artists’ Association from 2005 - 2020, participating in group photography shows and previously serving as the Board Secretary.

In 2018 I became a Resident Artist Member of the Salmagundi Art Club in New York City. I was honored to receive the Martin Hannon Memorial Award at the Salmagundi 2020 Winter Thumb Box Exhibition for my photograph “Montauk Birds” and a Certificate of Merit at the 2021 Fall Auction for my photograph “Shadmoor Park at Montauk”.

My photograph “Cliffs of Moher” received Third Place in the Nature Category in the 2021 Photocentric Exhibition at the Garrison Art Center in Garrison, New York.

My image “Montauk Flowers” was included in the 2023 Botanical Exhibition at the PhotoPlace Gallery in their online exhibit.
